Why Working at McDonald’s Isn’t That Bad

The Springboard To Success

What happens through your head when you think of McDonalds’ staff? Do you think of spotty teenagers or high flying executives? www mcdvoice

If you have never had the good fortune of working at McDonalds, you might have a negative belief of the jobs that it offers. But since you read this article, then you will come to realise that McDonald’s professions can be packed with surprise, promise and joy.

A great Education In Business, Development and Entrepreneurship

McDonald’s offers young people a chance to learn how to perform a business. Suppose you run a huge business. Might you entrust one of your outlets to a 17 year old? B does just that, and more, providing the younger generation around the world with a global class education in operating a business – from employing and firing, to team development, procurement and accounting.

Like a student, I got many friends who operated McDonald’s stores. While some of us had yet to enter university, the more dedicated among all of us were managing McDonald’s restaurants, developing the skills that might allow them to effectively set up their own businesses in the future.

A Broadening of Small Heads

Schools can separate the social classes, with wealthier children joining different schools to those from poorer families. Even so, McDonalds accepts individuals from all social and cultural groups, allowing many of them to come with each other initially. Wealthy parents often send their children to work in McDonalds in order to better understand those who find themselves less fortunate than them, and learn the value of money. A shining example of this is the Thailand’s original Prime Minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, who sent his seventeen year old daughter to work at McDonalds in 2004.

How To Surpass And Perform Calmly Although Under Pressure

Imagine a city trading room, packed with aggressive traders screaming prices across the room as they make or lose millions of dollars in seconds. Aside from the monetary aspect, a McDonald’s restaurant during the lunchtime rush is not too different.

Customers often speak loudly to be noticed above the din of the crowd, and certified shout orders to the sandwich makers as the cooking machinery is boisterous.

Work at McDonalds therefore helps its staff to find out how to perform steadly while between chaos. All those who fail to try this successfully will have to deal with complaints from unhappy customers who either wait too much time, receive the wrong order, and/or uncovered to other errors. McDonalds’ staff must therefore modify quickly in order to survive in the fast paced environment.

Free Meals And Good Friends!

Functioning at McDonalds isn’t all about seriousness. The free food available is a great benefit to those who love its popular hamburgers and fries. Many stores also have unofficial eating contests, where staff are challenged to perform responsibilities such as eating 70 chicken nuggets in under 60 minutes.

Most personnel also make lifelong relationships with their co staff, or even start up new businesses together, thus making permanent wealth from the skills and friendships that they learned from B.
